i wasn't able to post anything since we got to the west coast and we're already on our way back east. here are a few things i learned.

-East Hastings is a shitty hangout

-I don't hate all hippies it turns out, just most of them

-You never know where you'll find a vocoder

-Mountain towns are beautiful and junk

-Pinky sleeps like a bear in January

-Actual recording studios are a thing that i like when i am at them 

-That is what i want my amp to sound like and no i won't change it

-I like dogs. small ones. that shit next to pinky.

I'm in a hotel room in jasper that is connected to the place we played last night. Getting hotels is awesome because then you don't have to hustle to find a place to stay all day. It's a rare and welcome treat.
The show last night was really fun. we played jeff's guide to TV and breathe deep tornado which we have not played yet this tour. the show was opened by a dance party so we had to try and keep the energy going which it's safe to say we failed at and i couldn't have been happier. the few people that were into the show were cool so i was glad to be there playing. not to mention we got an insane amount of beer and some girl bought us shots. That made the heckling alot easier to take.
Yes, the heckling. No we won't play you a tragically hip song and no you can't come up on stage and play it yourself.

Winnipeg.

We've arrived in winnipeg after 3 days of travel and attempts at travel. The first day TOMTOM our navigator wasted all our daylight then we confirmed that out lights aren't working right at all. We were searching for a motel 2 nights ago when a place called Krazy Krust Patties appeared as being on out route in the GPS. We had to check it out. turned out to be a jamaican restauraunt in a stripmall. needless to say we did not sleep there.
Anyway, we drove and drove and ate and slept and now here we are. We're playing a show tomorrow which is why we do this so i'm psyched.
Note: chicken bowls from kfc are the best thing since rock'n'roll.

Toronto

Last night we played at Sneaky Dee's in Toronto. We got to hang out with our former drummer Mary; always a nice feature of passing through. She got really drunk and was pretty much hilarious all night. We got a few drinks from the bar but they were only good for some beer caller grolsh i think. It was quite bizarre. the driest beer I've ever had. the cotton candy of beers really. Paul from Zunior was there and he taped some of our set so hopefully some of it will end up on Zunior TV in the near future. Our timmons show got cancelled so we're driving from Toronto to Winnipeg but now we have 3 days to make it there. By the time we arrive i should have gotten quite far in lego batman and beaten the crap out of Pinky in tetris attack a bazillion times.

best tour ever.

we're hanging out in the basement of sonic unyon in a rehearsal space with out friend nick. last night we played at the casbah lounge, which was cool although different. we usually play in the big room there but for the amount of people that come to see us the small room is probably more apppropriate. The show ended early so we got to go see preistess down the street afterwards which was awesome. guitar envy enmasse. we're off to Toronto today where we're going to get to see Mary C our former drummer. Show is at sneaky dees. last time we where there spooky ruben showed up. do do ou yoy yo yeh.

Here's a song we recorded at the same time as turn into vapour. Like jeff's guide i just got around to finishing it. It'll be on a forward compilation that should be be out by christmas.

we played a music nova scotia showcase this weekend. it was fun. not a huge turnout or anything but playing on big stages with nice sound systems makes me feel like a rockstar. t/r took some pic. trev made a bring nova scotia music week to yarmouth t-shirt. that would be awesome, we travel so much that i never have the time to get home.

we're going on tour again.

First show is at the Music NS awards in New Glascow, we get to play with Myles Deck and the Fuzz which is pretty daunting but I think we may be up to it. we'll be breaking out a new song for the first time. I think it may be called "your affection" I could be wrong. also we've renamed our song "information" to "faber drive". They have a song called sleepless nights and we keep hearing about people finding that on the internet when they're looking for us on-line so we may as well google-fuck them right back. This is the first post here SNOH, so i'll fill you in on what to expect. lots of MP3's of demo's and radio sessions and side projects and such, links to video's hopefully some of which we can make and post on this tour, and my ramble ramble. I'm going to try and update this as much as possible. As soon as i get my hosting situation figured i'll start with some radio session tracks i think.
