My regular recording program is crapping out on my so i'm looking at free alternatives to use for making demos. I tried out audacity today and recorded a cover of new years kiss by Casiotone for the painfully alone.

Sounds good Aaron, I can never get audacity to work for me properly for multi-tracking - get all kinds of latency.
Much better results with Reaper.
